Celebrating our return to performance, we have a programme packed with delights from the 20th and 21st centuries, including such classics as In the bleak midwinter by Gustav Holst, The truth from above by Ralph Vaughan Williams, and Bethlehem Down by Peter Warlock. The programme features some of the greatest carols of recent years - Morten Lauridsen’s highly evocative O magnum mysterium and the haunting tones of The three kings by Jonathan Dove - alongside new arrangements of favourite carols: Nigel Short’s beautiful arrangement of Quem pastores, Still, still, still, originally arranged for the King’s Singers by Alexander L’Estrange, and a Nonsuch favourite, Stille nacht, by former Musical Director Graham Caldbeck.

With organist Richard Pearce and our conductor Tom Bullard, the Nonsuch Singers’ Christmas Concert is the perfect way to welcome in the Christmas season.
